5 words that best describe who you are?

Passionate, creative, kind, fun-loving, inquisitive

How did you end up doing what you do?

I studied an MA in magazine journalism, then got my first job working as a business news reporter. I moved over to work for a fashion magazine, then have stayed specialising in the fashion and luxury space ever since.

What is the best part of what you do?

I love starting with a blank piece of paper and creating something completely from scratch. You start with ideas, themes, concepts and you end up with a full article or magazine. The creative process never ceases to excite me!

What was your plan B

I love children, so maybe a teacher. Following in the footsteps of my Mum…

Professionally, who do you admire most and why?

I admire innovative, inspirational businesswomen. Natalie Massenet was an incredible pioneer in the fashion retail space, when she founded Net-a-Porter.

What is your view of a balanced life?

Being able to spend quality time with my husband, daughters and family, but also continue to have a fulfilling career and work life. It’s definitely not easy, especially with number 3 on the way too.

What do you do to relax and enjoy yourself in London?

We love to eat out, so a beautiful restaurant (with a great outside area for the kids to run around) would be the perfect weekend relaxation.

What is your biggest London extravagance?

A house

Where is your favourite place in London?

Soho
