5  MEET UP

We would love to meet you! We can

do Skype interviews if you live outside London, but if it's possible, please do come in for an interview, we much prefer to meet you in person - and

our clients prefer that too!

.

6  INTERVIEWS

Prepare for meeting with us. We are very warm and friendly and we of course want you to feel welcome and comfortable, but it is an interview and your opportunity to show us why you are the best candidate for this job.

We will send your details to the client once we have all the documents and references we need. The quicker we get everything together for you the sooner we can make the introduction. Written references are always useful but we will call and verify all the references so please make sure you have contact numbers and up to date emails for previous employees.

7  REFERENCES

.

Once we have sent through all your details we will let you know whether the family would like us to arrange an interview with them. Be prepared that they may require a second interview to see how you interact with the rest of the family members.

9  GOOD MATCH?

If you and the family both enjoyed meeting each other and feel that this role is potentially a good match – we encourage you both to have a trial. We suggest 3 days to 1 week to get a proper feel for the role. If the role is a live-in role then we suggest you move in for a few days. Best to go into your new job without any reservations and only lots of excitement.

.

10  CONGRATULATIONS

So the trial went well? You have received a formal offer and you accept? Congratulations!! Homebodies will put in writing the formal offer of employment and the family will provide an employment contract.

Please read the contract carefully. Make sure you are happy with everything before signing and

starting your new role.
