Ambra is a London based design consultant known for being a co-founder and director of Design Miami. She also co-founded the design website L’ArcoBaleno and headed a department at Christies auction house.

I learnt a lot from my mother and having lots of grown ups around when I was a child and traveled as much as possible

Professionally, who do you most admire and why?

Zaha Hadid. She was a brilliant architect and woman, she challenged the architecture industry and never gave up

What is your view of a ‘balanced life’?

A balanced life is truly what I strive for: having time with and without my daughters and husband as well as working

What do you do to relax and enjoy yourself in London?

​

I run a lot, but not sure I enjoy it. Walking on Hampstead Heath with friends and family and doing arts and crafts and gardening with my youngest daughter. Plus finding lots of nice places to drink coffee...

What is your biggest London extravagance?

Taking taxis
