START:  July/August or beginning of September latest

 

SALARY: Between £500- £650 net per week

£36,000-£46,000 gross per annum

depending on your level of experience and if live out or live in

 

DAYS: Monday to Friday

 

HOURS: 7/7.15am start and 7pm finish

with a break in the day when the children are at school and all duties are done

DESCRIPTION:

We are looking for an organised, friendly, proactive, and flexible LIVE IN or LIVE OUT DRIVING NANNY/PA to work for a wonderful family known to the agency in Maida Vale, W9. They need a nanny who can support them with their three children ages 10, 14 and 16, Monday to Friday, and ensure their day runs smoothly as well as running their home and keeping things organised.

The family are looking for a kind and calm nanny who loves being active and can manage a busy household and who genuinely loves their job and spending time with school age and teenage children. You need to be confident to care for three school age children and have some enthusiasm to engage with them in a positive, firm, and fun way. It is essential you have a fluent level of English so you can support the youngest son with his homework, and he is preparing for the 11 plus exams in January.

You must be confident experienced UK driver as both parents work full time and they will need you to drive the children to and from school and some local activities every day. They can provide an automatic car for you to use and if you live out, you can take this home each day to get to and from work.

There will be a break in the day for you to either go home or relax and have time off when the children are at school. The parents would also appreciate someone who is super organised and who can take initiative by making their lives easier. You need to be on the ball, enjoy cooking healthy meals for the children and be happy to muck in, support with running errands, shopping and generally be a wonderful support.

If you want to live in, you will be provided with your own lovely bedroom and bathroom on the top floor of their house in a beautiful area right next to Maida Vale station.

This role will suit a smart, bright, honest nanny/PA who enjoys managing their own time and being in a sole charge position.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

Usual duties and responsibilities to care for the children to include:

• Cooking fresh meals for the children and when appropriate making bigger portions for the parents to eat later

• Support with weekly Ocado shopping and unpack

• Organising playdates/classes and activities

• Support with homework, motivating and organising the children

• Running errands/PA duties

• Making lists of food or essentials for the children for online shopping

• Driving the children to and from school, activities, and playdates

• Liaise with schools and any admin related to the children

• General tidying, cleaning and organisation of the children’s bedrooms and bathroom (they have a daily cleaner who comes for a few hours each day)

• Children’s laundry and ironing
