After having two children, Jenna realised she wasn’t in love with being a solicitor anymore. For 12 years she had been qualified, specialising in childcare law, and a member of the children panel. To change track, she trained as a sleep consultant while pregnant with her third child and she launched Little Dreams soon after. Having worked for many years in the legal profession, Jenna understands how hard it is to focus on important work decisions with a clear head when you’re battling exhaustion. She is known for the depth of her evidence-based knowledge and for her calming character.

Home is?

Bristol, although I was born not too far from Newcastle.

Give us five words that best describe who you are?

Organised, kind, thoughtful, ambitious, generous (I asked my children for help with this one)!

How did you end up doing what you do?

I was a specialist solicitor for 12 years but realised that was not going to fit around my family. I wanted a career I could be proud of and that I could be passionate about too…this was the perfect fit.

What is the best part of what you do?

The difference we make to families’ lives - they will often tell u it is life changing and that they wish they had done it sooner. We work with some many families on the edge of divorce, giving up or worse and the change we see in such a short time is incredible.

What was your Plan B?

I didn’t have one – I knew I had to make it work.

Professionally, who do you most admire and why?

Any working mummy really – being able to withstand the sort of pressure having children and a career brings! If it had to be one person, someone like Michelle Obama is incredible at using her voice to shout about what is important and what she is passionate about, whilst making her family a priority.

What is your view of a ‘balanced life’?

Being financially secure but having time to be present with my family and have fun with them at the same time. I adore my job so really don’t feel like I am working when I am doing it, which really helps!

What do you do to relax and enjoy yourself in London?

When I am in London I love shopping, cliched as that may sound!! I do find it incredibly relaxing!! Closer to home I love exercising and walking.

What is your biggest London extravagance?

The amazing restaurants!!!

Where is your favourite place in London?

I love visiting Kensington when I am in London!!
