CHILDREN: 5 year-old boy and almost-3-year-old girl
DESCRIPTION:
This loving and creative family are seeking a gentle, kind and flexible hands-on nanny to join their family for sole care of their two children, a 5-year-old boy and almost 3-year-old girl. They also have a cat, so you need to be comfortable around cats. They would love a long-term nanny to join their warm, supportive family environment.
They are looking for a thoughtful, fun, and loving nanny who enjoys being active and who genuinely loves their job and spending time with toddlers, and young children. They would love their nanny to offer advice and support as their children reach new stages and be able to follow their parenting style. They want a nanny who is passionate about engaging the children in fun creative activities and encouraging them with their development. Ideally you have worked with nursery and school age children and can support with simple homework such as reading practice and phonics. Their son has sensory processing difficulties so someone gentle, fun and empathetic is key. It is preferred if you have worked with children with ADHD or with SEN and have a very calm and patient approach. They would love a nanny who does not get phased by emotional outbursts and who can be affectionate and empathetic.
The parents would like to find a fluent English-speaking nanny who enjoys smiles and affection and who can engage with the children in a positive, calm, and patient way getting down to their level. You need to be organised, proactive, hardworking, dynamic and switched-on.
