START: Flexible

 

SALARY: £40,000-£43,000 + depending on experience and qualifications

 

DAYS: Monday to Friday

 

HOURS: 11.30 am to 7.30 pm plus full-time hours in school holidays/travelling

 

CHILDREN: 3 children ages 5, 7 and 9 years old

                      

DESCRIPTION:

This wonderful family is seeking a professional nanny to help care for three school aged children in Highgate/Archway, North London. The children are 5, 7 and 9 years old. The family want someone who is experienced, a self-starter, kind, flexible, organised, fun, a good communicator, passionate about children of this age; firm yet fair and engaging, The role is sole charge but both parents work from home. Hours can be anything between 9-12 hours’ a day (or 45-60 hours a week) ranging between 7:15am-7:15pm (12 hours) and 11:15am -7:15pm (9 hours) Monday to Friday.

 

The family have a full-time housekeeper, so you need to work in a team. They would like you to promote the children’s development, help and encourage homework and music practice, and engage them in lots of activities. They would also like you to drive the children home from school, afternoon activities and organise playdates.  

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

• All nursery duties

• Up to date DBS and first aid

• Relevant nanny experience of looking after three school age children in long term roles with excellent references. 

• Fluent English speaker

• Some babysitting and travelling required 3-5 times per year for up to 2 weeks at a time.

• You must be a confident UK driver and also able to swim confidently.
