LOCATION: Earls Court, SW5 (4 minutes’ walk from the tube)

 

START: 27th August 2024 (no later than the 2nd September 2024)

 

SALARY: £50,000 to £56,550 gross per year depending on experience

 

 DAYS: Monday to Friday

 

HOURS: TOTAL = 45-50 per week - 8am to 6 or 7pm

 

CHILDREN: 2.5-month-old baby boy

                      

DESCRIPTION: 

This wonderful family is looking for a genuine loving nanny with newborn experience, who has a kind, positive approach. The ideal candidate is very caring and calm with at least 6 years’ experience working with babies from 2 months old to support first time parents. The family have a beautiful baby boy born in June who will be 2.5-month-old when the job will start. They would love to find an outdoorsy active nanny who can work 45-50 hours per week to take care of their son. They also have a cute friendly dog, so you need to be comfortable having a dog in the home, but no care is required.

The parents are both professional, understanding, and supportive and would like to find a nanny who can work in partnership with them with caring for their son and help him to reach all his developmental milestones and actively engage with him as he gets older. Their priority is that he is happy, always feels loved and secure in your care. The mum will be working from home starting from September and the dad works out of the home.

They would like a nanny who genuinely loves her job, is interested in early development and is passionate about working with babies and toddlers. As they are first time parents, they are looking for a nanny who can offer advice and support but also follow their routines, including helping with weaning and introducing him to a variety of healthy food when he is ready. They want to work in a team with their nanny and be involved with making decisions but they also value someone who can take the lead and make suggestions. They appreciate someone who is honest, earnest, gentle and a good communicator.

It is essential you can easily commute to Earls Court, SW5 and have a fluent level of English. They would like someone who is organised and who is happy to support with all nursery duties and take care of all aspects related to the baby.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum of 6 years nannying experience with babies from 2.5 months and working with first time parents. Being able to support with weaning and establishing routines.

• Someone with a very good understanding of the milestones and stages of development for babies and toddlers.

• All nursery duties
• Cook fresh healthy varied meals for the baby when he is ready
• Take him for daily walks, to parks and local activities and suggest activities
• Stimulate his social development through conversation and play
• Focus on supporting his overall development with an educational focus
• Keep all areas used by the baby safe, tidy and organised
• Stimulate through play, music, books, art, sensory activities etc.
