DESCRIPTION:

This wonderful family is looking for a professional, nurturing, and energetic full-time nanny to help care for an adorable sociable 16-month-old little boy starting in July or August. The family are living in Austin, Texas in the US and they would love to find either a live out or a live-in nanny to join their family. They are also expecting their second baby in November and would like to find a nanny who can support them on a permanent long-term basis.

The mum does not currently work but will be very busy and looking for support so she can focus on having time for herself. The dad will also be around at times, so the nanny needs to be comfortable to have parents being around and to work in a team with them. At times they want the nanny to join them, and they can all enjoy going somewhere together.

They want a nanny who will take sole charge and keep their son engaged and stimulated, take him to classes and spend lots of time outdoors. They are looking for a thoughtful, fun, and kind nanny who enjoys being active and who genuinely loves their job and spending time with babies and toddlers. It would be great if you can advise and support with finding fun activities and in the future, help their children to reach their milestones.

The parents would like to find a fluent English-speaking nanny who enjoys smiles and affection and who loves babies and toddlers. Ideally you are confident to support with the new baby when the time is right, but the mum is very hands on, and they will have a maternity nurse for the first 4 months. They value someone who enjoys cooking for children and who is tidy and organised.

They would also appreciate a nanny who is flexible to sometimes do evening babysitting if needed and travel abroad with them on a few occasions for a few weeks’ maximum at a time, although this is not a deal breaker. If you are able to drive this would be ideal but it is not a deal breaker.

Ideally you will have a US passport or visa to work in the USA, but the parents can try to support the perfect nanny with the visa application if you don’t already hold this. It is also preferred if you are in the USA for interviews and trials.
