START: September

 

SALARY: £40,000 depending on experience and qualifications

 

 DAYS: Monday to Friday 11 am to 7 pm

 

CHILDREN: 9-month-old and 5.5-year-old

 

DUTIES: Meet the needs of the children, mostly focussing on the 9-month-old – bathing, feeding, sleeping, hygiene, general routines etc. Promote the children’s development through engaging activities, play and interaction; Nursery duties and cooking for the children; take baby to playgroups/parks etc.  Pick up older girl form school and take to some activities.   Help with homework and support the family to settle into live in London as they are relocating from China. 

 

REQUIREMENTS: Up to date DBS, first aid, relevant nanny experience of looking after babies from 9 months up and school age, excellent references. The family want someone who is enthusiastic, calm, caring, flexible, energetic, proactive, highly organised and who has a genuine interest in children and their development; engaging, loving, able to take initiative, warm and friendly, a Mandarin speaker is a plus or you must be interested in learning about Chinese culture and be open to learning how to cook some Chinese cuisine. Ideally you are COVID vaccinated, and it is a bonus if you are a London driver.
