START: ASAP / Beginning of November 2023

 

SALARY: £55,000-£61,000 gross per annum depending on your experience

 

 DAYS: Monday to Friday

 

HOURS: 7:30am – 6:30pm

 

CHILDREN: 2 children: 1 year-old and 3 year-old

                      

DESCRIPTION: 

This wonderful family are looking for a warm, loving, and proactive nanny to help care for two adorable children ages 1 and 3 years old starting at the beginning of November. The parents work from home and are very hands on with their children so they are looking for someone who can also help with some light housekeeping mainly around the children as they have a cleaner twice a week for full days. They need the nanny to be comfortable to have parents being around and to work in a team with them. They would love a long-term nanny who can be part of the family and make their lives easier.

They are looking for a thoughtful, fun, and kind nanny who enjoys being active and who genuinely loves their job and spending time with babies and toddlers. It is most important for them that you love their children like they do, you are always engaging with them and have a happy, positive approach.

The parents would like to find a fluent English-speaking nanny who can multi-task, support with their established routines and be a self-starter. You will be responsible for cooking for the children, laundry, and ironing for the children, running errands and light housekeeping. They need a 7.30am start so it would be suited to someone who does not live too far away.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum of 10 years nannying experience with babies from 1 year old as well as being able to support with managing the routines for the children as they get older

• Ideally you have worked with two young children at the same time and can work in a team with parents.

• Cook healthy meals for the children from scratch and healthy batch cooking for the children. Sometimes do meal preparation for parents when the children are not around.
• Help with mealtimes, bath-time and follow routines for the children, e.g., changing, nap time, play time
• Take the child to local activities, playdates, and parks.
• Engage and stimulate the children at home and outdoors.
• Light housekeeping - tidy up after the children and keep children’s areas organised and clean.
• Children’s laundry and ironing.
