CHILDREN: 10-month-old baby girl

This wonderful family is looking for a gentle, kind, and nurturing full-time loving nanny with at least 8 years’ experience working with babies from 8 months to support first time parents. The parents are both professional, hardworking, and supportive and would like to find a nanny who can take exceptional care of their gorgeous and very calm 7-month-old daughter. She will be 10 months when the role starts in May, and this is a sole charge role. They would like their nanny to have attention to detail, be very safety and hygiene conscious as well as someone who enjoys planning and organising.

They would like a nanny who genuinely loves her job, is interested in early development and is passionate about working with babies and toddlers. As they are first time parents, they are looking for a nanny who can offer advice and support and be able to organise everything related to the child's needs from taking her to local classes/activities to cooking her meals. They would also like the nanny to be very developmentally focussed and support their baby to meet all her milestones, plan appropriate activities for her, introduce her to new experiences and be proactive in helping her socialise and enrich her.

It is essential you speak a fluent level of English and live close to Hampstead or can get to their home easily. Parking is also available if you have your own car, but they don’t need a driver.

They need someone who can be flexible, hardworking, reliable, and to follow their gentle parenting approach setting firm yet loving, positive boundaries.

  • Minimum of 8 years nannying experience with babies from 8 months up to pre-school age. Childcare qualifications and professional development are valued as well as a very good understanding of the milestones and stages of development for babies and toddlers. It is ideal if you have worked with first time parents before, so you understand the role and can make subtle suggestions. An interest in cooking fresh nutritional meals for the baby is also important as well as experience with weaning, toilet training and helping her to meet all developmental milestones.

  • All nursery duties and keep all her areas tidy and organised (they have a cleaner that comes to do deep cleaning 3 x per week).

  • Cook fresh healthy meals for the baby from scratch.

  • Take her for daily walks and fresh air, playing outdoors.

  • Stimulate her social development through conversation and engaging play.

  • Follow and adapt routines as she gets older e.g., sleep times, bath time.

  • Organise her wardrobe, toys and maintain good hygiene.

  • Stimulate through play, music, books, art, age-appropriate activities.

  • Suggest and take baby to local activities and playgroups.

  • Sterilise bottles and pacifiers.

  • Following all daily routines including bath and bedtime.

  • Babysitting on occasion if parents want to go out for a few hours in the evening and travel once a year for a week if interested but not a requirement.

Please apply if you are interested in this wonderful full-time position in Hampstead starting on 1st May.
